Radient Pass
A prepaid balance for every provider
One key, one balance, and credits that are 1:1 with USD. Load it, spend it across every model and tool, and read exactly what each request cost.
What Radient Pass is
Radient Pass is a prepaid USD balance attached to one API key. You add funds, then use any model or tool Radient carries. Radient pays the provider and deducts the same amount from your balance, 1 credit to 1 USD. There is no subscription or monthly minimum on pay-as-you-go.
The key is a standard bearer token against https://api.radienthq.com/v1. Any client that speaks the OpenAI schema can use it, so the Pass works in the tools you already run.

How Radient Pass works
Five steps, and you only repeat the last two.
Create an account
Sign in with Google or Microsoft. Eligible new accounts can claim free credit, when available, after following an email verification link and completing a security check. No card needed. These checks are for the credit claim, not account access.
- Free credit to claim
Generate a key
Create an Application in the console and copy its key. That key is your Pass. Store it the way you store any provider secret.
Point your client at Radient
Set base_url to https://api.radienthq.com/v1, api_key to your Pass key, and model to auto. Cursor, Cline, Aider, Local Operator, the OpenAI SDK and LangChain all take these three settings.
client settingsbase_url = https://api.radienthq.com/v1api_key = your Radient Pass keymodel = autoSpend, and read the record
Every request is priced at what the provider charged and listed in the console with the model identifier that served it.

Top up when you want to
Minimum $5.00 by card through Stripe. Credits never expire, so nothing lapses if you stop. Each top-up adds $0.30 plus a 10% service fee. Credits themselves are 1:1 with USD.
- First top-up bonus
Radient Automatic
Set model to auto and Radient picks a model per request: a current default model serves most calls, and requests carrying video, audio or a file are routed to a model that accepts every modality. Name a model identifier any time you want to override it.
- Why it saves money
- Most steps in an agent run are formatting, extraction and tool calls. Those do not need a frontier model, and Automatic stops paying for one.
- How it decides
- A current default model serves most calls. Requests carrying video, audio or a file are routed to a model that accepts every modality.
- Keeping control
- Pass a model identifier instead of auto and Radient uses exactly that model.

Where the Pass works
Radient exposes the OpenAI schema, so integration is three settings and no new SDK.

What a top-up costs
Two fees, both per top-up, both shown before you pay. The pricing page has the full breakdown.
- Service fee
- 10% of the credit you buy. Covers international card processing and running the platform.
- Transaction fee
- $0.30 per top-up. Covers the fixed per charge fee our payment processor bills us.
- Usage
- 1:1, no markup on requests. A request that costs Radient $0.0042 costs you $0.0042.
Each top-up adds $0.30 plus a 10% service fee. Credits themselves are 1:1 with USD.
Worked example: to receive $20.00 in credit you pay $22.30.
Fees are charged when you add funds, not when you make a request. One larger top-up carries the $0.30 once instead of many times.

Per unit, the Pass costs more than billing a provider directly. The difference buys one balance, one key, one bill, agent tools behind the same token, and per step routing you did not have to build. If you use one provider only, direct wins outright.
